What is Brain Profiling?

By learning about your emotional intelligence, you will be able to reduce your stress levels, make better decisions,  communicate more effectively and improve your overall health and level of satisfaction.  See “What Is Emotional Intelligence?”

Brain Profiling is a tool for finding your brain style and measuring your emotional intelligence in a visual form.  It is a snapshot of your brain’s current style for processing “cognitive” and “emotional” data.  The snapshot of your brain, will tell you what your natural gifts are, in terms of how you take in information, what skills you use the most and what natural skills you have that you are not using.

In addition to individual brain profiles, I also offer group emotional intelligence dashboards. This is a measurement of a team’s overall emotional intelligence, also known as SWOT. Swot is an acronym for strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and talents. Team performance can improve substantially when they have this information.

What Is Emotional Intelligence?

What is it and what are the benefits?

Master Your Mind; Habits For Productivity

According to Dr. Newberg, a neuroscientist, a single negative word can increase the activity in our amygdala (the emotional center of the brain). This releases dozens of stress-producing hormones and neurotransmitters, which in turn interrupts our brains’ functioning. (This is especially with regard to logic, reason, and language.)Chemical changes in the brain, have a cascading effect and change the chemical composition of the body. Positive chemical changes create positive physiological benefits, trauma or stress based chemical changes impact our body in a negative way.

Since our subconscious and our body are always being affected by our internal dialogue and what is happening around us, it is important to develop conscious language skills.Conscious language is literally the skill of being conscious of the effects of certain words on our DNA and the DNA of others. Our body and our brain are always listening.Emotional intelligence (or EQ) is the ability to receive, understand, respond and communicate with others who may not have the same skillset, awareness, or communication tools you have.

“People with well-developed emotional skills are also more likely to be content and effective in their lives, mastering the habits of mind that foster their own productivity; people who cannot marshal some control over their emotional life fight inner battles that sabotage their ability for focused work and clear thought.”
Daniel Goleman

When you combine Conscious Language with Emotional Intelligence, you gain internal peace and have better external results with whatever you are choosing to accomplish.
